The Administrators at SouthWestRiders.com, hope to keep the forum rules simple and logical. The forum Administrators and Moderators are here to ensure the smooth operation of this community. They do this on a volunteer basis because of their love of riding, please respect their contribution.
Please make every effort to keep this forum an enjoyable experience for each and every member, regardless of their age, gender, race or technical (or lack of) knowledge.

1. First and foremost, this is a family site. Be nice. We may have children watching.
2. Post your contribution to the most relevant area of the forum. If in doubt, contact Admin or a Moderator for guidance.
3. Stay on the topic that is posted.
4. Fun by all is expected, but Flaming, name-calling, or otherwise abusive behavior is inappropriate and is not within the spirit of this group.
Attacking a SWR member on a personal level is not allowed. "Brand Bashing" is not allowed. If you have a gripe with someone, take it to e-mail.
5. Any posts containing excessive profanity, and sexual language will not be tolerated. Images which might be considered sexually provocative or
offensive to others must not be posted nor referenced (hyperlinked). Please use your best judgment.
6. Posting content which, verbally or graphically, discusses (directly or indirectly) Race, Ethnic Background, Religion, Politics (unless OHV related),
Sex or any other non-ATV related topic which may be offensive to the membership is prohibited.
7. *Any posts containing false or misleading information are subject to deletion.
8. All members of SouthWestRiders.com are eligible to ride with any other members. Topics that descriminate against or include only specific
groups will not be allowed and will be moderated.
9. We realize that some members will be less technically inclined than others. However, if possible, please do a search of the Forum and/or
"Help" (in the menu bar at the top of every page) first before asking basic questions. Odds are your question has been asked before.
10. Self-promotion or advertising, without prior permission from Admin, is not allowed. User signatures will be monitored and audited if necessary.
11. Do not use the SouthWestRiders site to encourage conduct that may constitute a criminal offense.
12. All information obtained from SouthWestRiders shall be used at the member's discretion.
13. Any post or picture that goes against "Tread Lightly" principles will be moderated. It is the users responsibility to educate themselves on the
Tread Lightly Program.

anti-ATV/OHV stance will have their membership disabled.
15. All activity on this site, including your IP address, is monitored and logged.
16. Personal information given during the registration process is confidential and will not be released to anyone without your express permission.
17. SouthWestRiders reserves the right to remove any material deemed inappropriate.
18. We reserve the right to change/add to/modify the site rules at any time.

We have a four step warning system in place. Repeated violation of any of these rules and guidelines in any combination, will have an end result of banishment from this forum.
